The Obsessed Garage Journal pack consists of our minimalistic and stylish notebook made by Leuchtturm Gruppe, a German company that specializes in producing high-quality notebooks, journals, and planners. We also have a mechanical pencil and pen from Rhodia that Kyle (our Design Director) loves to use for his garage sketches.
The notebook is German-made and German-designed but made in Taiwan - no question that the quality is top-notch. We like that the hardcover is sturdy with slight give (bends just a bit) with our Obsessed Garage branding debossed on the front. There’s an elastic enclosure band for marking where you left off. Page quality is super high and does a decent job of resisting marker bleed-through; it’s also nice that this book can lay flat when opened. Sizing is perfect for taking with you in a bag or using as your main notebook; plenty of pages as well, without being bulky.
Onto the mechanical pencil and pens from Rhodia - these are simple yet refined writing instruments in a brushed aluminum body. Both are retractable. The pencil uses 0.5mm lead (refills not included); the pen's ink is refillable but available separately. The size for both of these is 5” L.
The two of these together make for a cool writing setup, whether at the office or on the go.
