this set is not worth the price...some of the tools like the driver and bits are nice quality for starting out or adding to a collection, the precision driver bits are what I expected (as pictured)the crimping tool looks like a wire cutter, the hammer is what I expected(good for tapping but not for good hammering), the soldering iron is one of the cheapest irons they could have put in this kit(just as I exected and was going to replace with a GOOD one)the brush looks just like in the picture( a 20cent paint brush)the tweezers and the magnettic pick-up tool are of the quality you find at sears, the 3 prong pick up tool is not a cheap one. it grabbed my finger really goooood)the flash light looks like a mag lite in the picture but is not(the lens pops off)! All in All, If you are getting a starter set to build a GOOD electronics tool set for a teen starting out or a 10 year old this is OK BUT I am glad I got it for only $20.00 as I used an apreciation gift I had! Oh, the vacuum is a piece of JUNK that is hype -a childs toy for a barbie collection! The vacuum does pick up some smaller particles but where does the dust collect but back onto the computer for there is no collection area unless the thing with the filter is the collection area. if this set goes down in price to 10.00 than it would be worth it. but until it does-DO LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR TOOLS! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS UNLESS YOU ARE GETTING IT FOR YOUR 10 YEAR OLD OR A TEEN JUST STARTING OUT!I purchased this kit a few days ago. The kit is pretty complete and the tools are for the most part good quality. I have 2 complaints. The case is not molded well to the tools so it can be very hard to remove and replace them. The second is the vacuum/blower moves so little air as to not be usable at all. I was pretty happy with the rest, though the soldiering iron is not great, but I already have a Weber.The high ratings this set has received from some people will probably get your hopes up, but ... you get what you pay for. The quality of the tools is fair. The quality of the case is poor. As with every set of tools-in-a-case I've ever bought, you will find the inability of the case to properly hold the tools frustrating every time you open it up. If you just need some tools "for now" and plan to upgrade as you go along, this is not the worst investment you could make. You should probably plan on replacing the case in the short term, however, and replacing the tools in the medium to long term.I love the Kit for what I will be using it for (small home projects). But You need to replace the display picture of the product itself with a picture of the product in a proper display order, rather than the picture with the left side of the case in disarray. If it wasn't for the picture of the product in the outside display cover, I would never taken a chance on buying this product.You probably have lost alot of sales with this display picture.`As another reviewer has said, "This is an "occasional tool kit", not an everyday use one." The reviewer was right, I order this just for that reason. Think of it as one of those $20 tool kits you get from Wal-Mart, that is the quality of these tools. About four or five times a month, I take house calls for laptop, PCs, and TVs and this fit the bill. Just throw the pump away and I am not sure about how well the soldering iron will work.The only PC repair kit I've ever found that was mostly useful tools and even had a couple of surprises. Tools aren't the best quality and don't fit quite right, with some items just shoved in voids between the tool and the edge of it's slot. Still usable though.Works well enough. Seems like you cannot buy a good tool kit anymore. This one has some things I probably will not use in it but that's ok. The vaccum I must say does not seem to do anything at all. everything else in this kit seems alright though.Almost overkill! I haven't even had cause to use everything in it yet, but it has been a godsend for my new job at an MSP where I'm sometimes tasked with taking computers apart on site and at the office. The ratcheting screwdriver is particularly good, and the telescoping magnetic screw-grabber has proven useful more than once.
