I had hoped for a little better quality set, but to be realistic this set is exactly what I expected. I have a Foredom rotary tool with a complete complement of burrs and diamond tips that I use for precision work and carving. Very expensive and very precise. But I needed something to provide a bit wider range of tools for my cordless Dremel. This set seemed worth the risk for the price in order to obtain a bit more variety in my bit choices. To be totally honest, I think this would be a good set for a youngster who is just messing about occasionally with a rotary tool.I really like the case it came in and will very likely cull the half dozen bits that are actually usable for my purposes, then throw the rest away and use the case for the better quality bits that I usually buy. It was worth a test drive, but after using the carving burr and finding it to be almost dead-dull, then wearing our a grinding wheel in a matter of about one minute working on a mild steel edge, I am pretty much done with most of the pieces in the kit. I don't blame the kit. I knew that it was a long shot to buy a full kit that cost the same amount as 4 of my good burrs; my long shot simply didn't come in. So if you rarely use your rotary tool, or don't ask much of it when you do, this kit might be right for you. If you want sharp, durable tooling, look elsewhere.I like that the quantity but some of the quality wasn't as expected. The rubber pieces didn't hold up at all very quick the well melt offThe quality is to low if you are use to Dremel parts. Ok for money but they will wear out fastBought this great set to go with the rotary tool I was getting for Christmas and then Lowe's forgot to send it to me and I never received the rotary tool and I have had the tools to go with the rotary tool. I love this set. It is real nice and I have used it to manually removed and fix things. Hopefully, I'll actually get the rotary tool this Christmas.I found this set after seeing an identical one reviewed on YouTube. The YouTube review said the set cost $15 (that was then). This set cost me $20. On the Avid Power site, they charge $40. So the price might have risen some over the years, but this is still a bargain on Amazon in 2020. There are a lot of bits and accessories in this set, plus drill bits that you don't often find in sets like this. I haven't had time to try all 300 pieces in this set, but they all look to be of good quality, though clearly made in China. The nicest part of this set is the compact carry case with the ball-bearing, lazy Susan base. Brilliant. Wish I'd had one of these for my original Dremel set back in the 1970s. If you have a rotary tool, buy this set and then start to learn how to use all of these new tools. By the time you finish, you'll be an expert modeler, crafter, whatever.I like the Dimond drill bit options. Most work really well. Here are some issues:half the flat sanders have no backing. And putting them on the screw top one does literally nothing. The round rubber sanding bits are too small for the sanding rounds, so it constantly slips off.The rubber polishing stones are pretty rough, too rough to polish. And same for the flat polish tops. The flaps on the side that close the top are kinda stubborn. One of mine broke. The polish paste seems to be overly dried out because it doesn't adhere to the polish wheel at all.Not gonna lie.. Pretty disappointed, I had high hopes. But if you're looking for a kit for occasional use, this is great. I bought it to work on stones.I do absolutely love the container it comes in.And what I know about it is it used to cost a lot more than it does today. This kit in particular is absolutely worth what I paid, comparatively much less than I used to pay, this kit has a bit of everything in it and for my needs it’s perfect, as I use it for a lot of smaller projects to help my 12 year old to my own projects that require a bit more exactness. It’s a perfect kit for wood, glass, plastic, ceramic the list goes on and on really. You can’t go wrong with this, if you’ve looked at it more than once, you’ll be happy with just pulling the trigger and buying this great kit.I ended up having to get this twice because the first order had issues ( Amazon customer help did a great job of helping me with that)! So, as a product this is a good price for the amount of bits/parts/and case! I really only wanted one individual bit that I cannot seem to find anywhere unless it is in a big set like this (the rubber sanding pad bit that looks like a thick black flat topped rubber topped bit that you attach sanding paper disks to). The second order just arrived and is intact (no missing pieces or broken case like the first one) and I am very pleased! I am already setting up the projects! Time to get crafting!!!This is a well designed, versatile kit. The bottom even comes with a lazy susan so you can rotate the kit around (or you can remove it and repurpose it!). Great value for the money. I've used only a few of the items so far, and they are as good as any of the more expensive, name brand accessories you can buy. I'm happy with this.I ordered both the Avid power rotary tool and this accessory kit, When I received them, everything worked except for the smallest collet in the accessory kit (the sole reason I bought this kit, I needed the smaller bits.), I contacted Avid power and not only did they send me a whole brand new kit, they also activated and extended the warranty on the tool. Service was quick and painless and received the replacement very quickly. This is a nice well made box of consumables for a Dremel like tool good assortment of toolsI like the mobility aspect, just be careful that the cover is securely snapped down, there is a lot of pieces to pick up should it let gop
