I bought this to repair an old 3/4" drive ratchet. The gear mechanism was a bit too thick to fit the ratchet, and the retainer ring was too small. I was able to grind the gear mechanism to make it fit (simple fix), and I reused my old retainer ring. I got the ratchet back together and it works great. Considering how old my ratchet is, I'm surprised was able to find ANY parts for it. It all worked out in the end and I'm happy with it.
